Garrison Analytics was founded in 2016 to offer solution to an increased demand for data, research, and information in the most challenging and conflict-prone environments of East Africa. We are committed to providing quality services that translating to meaningful development solutions for the populations we work with. We have a diligent team drawn from network of professionals with extensive hands-on experience in managing and implementing a diverse array of research assignments in the region.
Our experts bring to the table years of collective knowledge executing comprehensive Projects Design, management, monitoring and evaluation, and are well versed in the highest industry standards for ethical research. By leveraging our ability to penetrate deeply into difficult geographies of East Africa and beyond, we provide development actors with a clear, precise view of dynamic situations that would otherwise remain obscure. Our research and reporting provides data, analysis, and synthesis that empowers key actors to make the most well- informed decisions possible, enabling them to effectively answer the uniquely challenging questions facing crisis actors, governments, NGOs, and private entities today.

With management and support teams overseeing field operations; Garrison Analytics is placed well to respond swiftly to today’s pressing research needs in East Africa and beyond. Our total sphere of operations in East Africa includes Somalia, Kenya, and South Sudan, and our key focus area is in Kenya and Somalia, where we have focused resources and assets.
Within Kenya and Somalia, we have strategically placed sub-office locations each hosting an independent team of highly-trained research personnel and field monitors that can be rapidly deployed to any city, village, or rural area.
Our chief competitive advantage is our ability to reach every corner of the country to conduct research. Garrison Analytics maintains a staff of nearly 50 field monitors throughout our sub-offices, and within these ranks are representatives of the country’s myriad dialects, diverse cultures, and vast sub-regions, allowing us complete access. We invest heavily in our staff members, as we understand that they maintain the key to our success. They are regularly trained, updated, and incentivized to perform at the highest levels. At management level, Garrison Analytics bases staff in Nairobi, Mogadishu and Juba, As such, we are always prepared to deliver results with emphasis on quality, punctuality, sensitivity, and mutual understanding of goals.
