Research Lead (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, coordinate and execute assigned research projects.
  2. Supervise team members on daily basis to complete research projects within deadlines.
  3. Track project progress periodically and report the same to management.
  4. Identify areas of improvements and develop new methodologies to meet milestones.
  5. Present research findings to management in an understandable manner.
  6. Work with management in preparation of project budget and schedule.
  7. Monitor and control expenses within allotted budget.
  8. Follow and enforce state and federal regulations.
  9. Interact with accounting department in processing payments and approving grants.
  10. Stay abreast with latest developments in research tools and techniques.
  11. Analyze and resolve research issues promptly and accurately.
  12. Perform cost negotiation and finance and schedule management activities.
  13. Coordinate with management in determining research priorities and developing research roadmap.
  14. Identify key challenges and develop appropriate solutions.
  15. Ensure that research deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
Qualifications
  1. A bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. A masters’ degree will be an added advantage
  2. At least five years’ experience in desk, qualitative and quantitative research
  3. Good verbal and written communication skills
  4. Fluent in English and Swahili
  5. Intelligent, innovative and a team player
  6. Good computer literacy. Familiarity with SPSS, Advanced Excel and R programming Language will be an added advantage
  7. Willingness to work all over the country

Qualifications
